The IIS University felicitates 461 students
29th April 2017: Jaipur: To felicitate the achievements of the students in academics and sports activities, the IIS University has organized ‘Award Ceremony 2017’ at Kshipra Path situated India International School, Auditorium auditorium on Saturday. Ms. Ritu Kedia, International Long Distance Swimmer honoured with Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award 2015 by the President of India graced the occasion with her esteem presence and gave away the awards.
The students who achieved second and third positions in academics, members of office bearer council and winners and runners up position holders in various sports competitions were awarded for the session 2016-2017. In total, 461 student achievers were felicitated on the occasion. The first position holders were awarded in the annual function ‘Virasat 2017’ held last month.
Students who obtained second rank in academics were awarded with certificates, trophies and a cheque of Rs 1500, while students holding third position had to satisfy themselves with certificates and trophies.
235 students from various full time, add-on & Phd courses, 85 Office Bearers & 138 students who excelled in sports were awarded on the occasion.
Prestigious award winner Ritu Kedia is on the list of four swimmer sisters. She dedicates this victory to the success of Polio Free India and to encourage Complete Literacy.
With immense pleasure Vice-Chancellor of The IIS University, Dr. Ashok Gupta congratulated all the achievers and proudly said that around 5000 students from 22 states and other parts of the world are being imparted values, culture along with the education by the University every year.
