COSMOS 2017 – Annual Cultural Fest kicks start at The IIS University

Razzmatazz- Group Dance competition stole the fest

29 October 2017: Jaipur: The colourful, vibrant ambience set the tone right on the second day of the festive ride 10th Annual Cultural Fest COSMOS 2017 organized by The IIS University. Students donning beautiful attires with aesthetic makeup set the perfect mood to have fun and frolic journey of this festivity.

Alike the first day of the fest, the second day also experienced enthusiastic and energetic competitions wherein students participated with great zest and zeal. The another day of this lively fest observed creative competitions like cooking contest, Inter-college Debate, photography, Rangoli and Razmatazz - Group dance competitions.

This fest is dedicated to the celebration of creativity and it is a stimulating event brimming with youthful dynamism.

Fashion Styling Competition

The theme of the competition organized by the Department of Fashion Technology was “Glam Gala” which was judged by Nisha Bhatia, India Today Fashions, Designer and Director and Shivina Agnani, Shimmer Design Studio. The first position was bagged by Harsha Rathi, Harsha Rathi, Megha Agarwal and Shreya Garg designers’ group and the outfit was adorned by model Diksha Sinwar.

Razzmatazz-Trio Group Dance stole the fest

Razzmatazz –Group Dance competition stole the second day of the fest. Surbhi Mehta and Kuldeep Singh had adorned the judge’s hat. The performance which took audience by surprise and left everyone spell bound was on the song Kyon Main Jagoon…The performance was ended with shayari “Dil Aakhir Tu Kyu Rota Hai….” from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara which had given goosebumps to the audience. This formation dance style presented by the group comprising Harshita Sharma, Divisha Agarwal, Aditi Jain, Mudita Rathore and Manvi Singh undoubtedly declared first which had inherited message of Right to Education.

Also, the other attraction of the fest was the stalls put up at the back lawns from jewellery to clothing to mouth watering food items. These stalls were enjoyed by the students as well as teachers.

Last day’s attraction would be Solo/Duet song competition, Kriti - Mehandi Competition and the ceremony will be concluded with the much awaited award ceremony.
