17th January 2020: Jaipur: A Three-day FICR International Conference on Rising Threats in Expert Applications and Solutions organized by the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, IIS (deemed to be University), Jaipur commenced on Friday at IIIM Campus, Mansarovar, Jaipur. The Chief Guest of the conference Prof. E Balagurusamy, Former Vice Chancellor, Anna University, Chennai said that the topic of the conference is an important area of concern for all the computer scientists. He also said that this conference would provide an opportunity to all the teachers and researchers not only to discuss and debate various issues but also find appropriate solutions and actions. While Prof. Venugopal K R, Vice Chancellor Bangalore University graced the occasion as Guest of Honor opined that the conference would provide a platform to all the delegates to showcase their achievements in the field of development of applications and solutions and to address rising threats through exchange of knowledge.

The inaugural session was presided over by Dr. Ashok Gupta, Vice Chancellor, IIS (deemed to be University).He stated that the conference aims to bring together academicians, research scholar, consultants and students to share their views and opinions in various facets of Computer Science and Information Technology. He also said that this conference will be the basis for the growth of new ideas towards a better tomorrow.

The Special InviteeDr. Niko Phillips, Director-International, Activate Learning, City of Oxford College, UK highlighted the importance of computer science in the direction of Higher Education. He stated that Internalization of Higher Education is the need of the hour. While Prof. Mike Hinchey, Professor, University of Limerick, Ireland talked about the difference between artificial intelligence and human intelligence and highlighted that Artificial Intelligence will give new opportunities in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology. Prof. Milan Tuba, Vice Rector, International Relations, Singidunum University, Belgrade, Serbia discussed about the scope of CS and IT in current scenario and development of CS and IT with the passage of time and Mr. Aninda Bose, Senior Publishing Editor, Springer Nature, India highlighted the importance of such conferences in creating awareness and emphasized on the rising trends in the area of Artificial Intelligence.
Prof. Vijay Singh Rathore, Conference Convenor threw light on the purpose of the Conference. The Book of Abstract was released by the delegates on the dais. Dr.Anubha Jain, Head, Department of Computer Science and Information Technologygave vote of thanks. Dr. Raakhi Gupta, Rector and Registrar, Prof. Pradeep Bhatnagar, Dean, Faculty of Science, Prof. M.K. Sharma, Dean, Faculty Commerce and Management and Prof. Roopa Mathur, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Science were also present in the Inaugural ceremony.

In the technical sessions of day oneProf. N.N. Jani, Mentor, Institute Industry Interaction Cell, KadiSarva Vishwavidyalaya, Gandhinagaremphasized on the need of relevant education in the area of computer science and technology. He also talked about the changes needed in the industry and solutions regarding thesame.Prof. R.S. Salaria, Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Rayat-Bahra University, Hoshiarpur quoted that the only solution to every problem related to CS and IT is Humane Conduct. Prof. Dhram Singh, Department of Computer Science, Namibia University of Science and Technology talked about Smart Computing and Communication. Prof. Hanumanthappa M., Director, Department of Computer Science, Bangalore University briefed about the best practices in research in the area of CS and IT. Prof. P.V. Virparia, Dr. R.K. Bayal, Dr. Avinash Panwar, Prof. S. Karthik, Prof. N.K. Joshi and Dr. Amit Joshi presented their views in the various technical sessions of the conference

The first day of the conference provided a forum to all the delegates to get acquainted with the most recent innovations and treads in the field of Computer Science and IT. Day one focused on the latest developments and Scientific Solutions in the area of Expert Applications and Machine Learning, Information and Cyber Security Threats and Multimedia Applications in Forensics, Security and Intelligence.

The conference aims to explore the recent technological developments specifically the expert applications using various engineering tools, investigation and analysis of the rising threats associated with them and proposed solutions to these threats. This would foster reliable technological implementations for social benefits and subduing or obliterating the precarious threats associated with it.
