Fresher's Party ‘Radiance-2017’ at The IIS University

Kawal Shergill & Pakhi Jain crowned Miss Fresher 2017

19th August 2017: Jaipur: The young new sparks of The IIS University donning colourful traditional attires received overwhelming welcome by their seniors at fresher’s party ‘Radiance 2017’ on Saturday.

Vibrant ambience and impeccable mood had made the day of everyone present on the occasion. After seeking blessings from lord Ganesha, the program commenced with a welcome note by Dr. Ashok Gupta, the Vice-Chancellor of the university, wherein he said that good education and guidance prepares the foundation of a promising future and the university provides opportunities to its students to express and hone their abilities & talents to the fullest.

Now, it was seniors turn to take over the stage and took the juniors to fun-filled and enthralling ride. The students of the university had set the stage on fire with their exuberant performances. The girls were at their best when they performed on foot-tapping numbers from Hollywood as well as Bollywood. Some students took the program on another level with western dance forms like free style, jazz and Broadway and left everyone spell bound.

The performances were pure amalgamation of poise and elegance. A set of performance revived the retro days with songs such as Ek Ladki ko dekha to aisa laga….tu hai wahi dil ne jise apna kaha…ishq tera tadpave…

Not to miss, nightingales of the university mesmerized audience with the fusion songs through which they melodiously told their juniors that they keep special place in senior’s heart.
Now, it was the time for much coveted Miss Fresher’s contest which began with great zeal and enthusiasm. Juniors took over the stage looking gorgeous in Indian attire to own the miss fresher’s crown.

The contest concluded in three rounds i.e. Introduction round, talent round and question and answer round. It was judges by Manju Nair, Principal, IIIM, Aditi Dolia, Alumna of The IIS University and Dr. Anita Hada Sangwan, journalist and educationist.

Eventually, the results were announced and much deserving Pakhi Jain from UG section and Kawal Shergill from PG section were crowned Ms Fresher of the year. While Niharika Joshi got the title of ‘Ravishing Beauty’.
