31st August 2018: Jaipur: A diamond doesn’t sparkle till the time it is not exposed to light. Similarly, for juniors this luminous light is their seniors. In order to thank the seniors for the enthusiastic and overwhelming welcome in the fresher’s party, the new entrants of IIS (Deemed to be University) organized a thank you bash – Panache 2018 on Friday.

Since the Ganesh Chaturthi fervor is going to begin, the program commenced with Ganesh Stuti. The evening witnessed the gracious moves, the rocking beats, the energetic music on which the body grooved.

Bollywood moves on evergreen dance numbers such as Kajrare…Nach Le…Nimbuda had it all to get everyone on their feet to join the beats.

Sufi dance heals the heart, makes it a whole and the divine pleasure flows from heaven to the soul. With the Sufiana performance on bollywood’s iconic song In Aankhon Ki Masti Ke….and Aafreen, the seniors transcended to the world of God.

When North Meets West

The moment which stole the show was the one when Jayitri Gogoi from North India and her group depicted the West India’s culture and art with the mesmerizing performing on songs such as Ban Than Chali Bolo…Rangeelo Mharo Dholna…

The nightingales of the university refreshed and energized the seniors with their performance on songs including Chookar Mere Mann Ko…Raabta….Ae Khuda…Tum Se Hi…Tum Hi Ho Bandhu….Chookar Mere Mann Ko…. In another group song performance on “Ab Ke Sawan Aise Barse…” juniors celebrated the freshness of monsoon.

Another beautiful amalgamation of classical and western dance was seen in the dance performance on breathless song “Koi Jo Mila To…”

Finally the time had come when the investiture ceremony was solemnized to appoint office bearers of the university for the session 2018-19. The office bearers selected for coveted posts promised to uphold the prestige of their institution and shoulder their responsibilities earnestly.

Rakshita Singh (UG) and Niharika Joshi (PG) were appointed as Head Girls of the university.
